Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

The conditions of issuing a Conditional Acceptance Letter by WBS are as follows:

• the payment of the application and the registration fees
• the completeness, validity and authenticity of all the documents required for the school application and admission: https://wsuf.hu/en/how-to-apply/what-to-submit-to-wbs
• eligibility and the successful completion of the entrance examination

The conditions of issuing a Final Acceptance Letter by WBS are as follows: <ul> <li>the payment of the administration fee and the tuition fee for the first 2 semesters</li> <li>the approval of the visa-package by the school lawyer prior to submitting it to Hungarian authorities</li> <li>communicating the date and the place of the visa-interview in advance to WBS</li></ul>

The pre-paid administration and tuition fee is only refundable in such cases when the applicant's entry-visa has been refused by the relevant Hungarian authorities. WBS takes no responsibility for the issuing of entry-visas by Hungarian authorities.

The complete duration of a BA Programme is 7 semesters, the seventh of which is an uninterrupted internship. 
The duration of a Post-Graduate Programme is 2 or 4 semesters. 
The duration of a Foundation Programme is 1 or 2 semesters.

During studies, the administration and tuition fee for the upcoming semester has to be paid by 15th August and 15th February respectively.

If a student does not possess the required level of English language proficiency and/or Mathematics competences, he/she must first complete the Foundation Year before commencing the a BA/PG Programme.

Students can access the course material electronically. If a student wishes to have the material printed, he/she has to pay the cost of the printing or a coursebook.

All international programmes of WBS are full-time programmes, which means that courses have to be regularly attended as indicated in the timetable (the maximum rate of absences allowed is 20% of the contact lessons on each course).

If within the prescribed time period the Student has not completed the requirements in all the subjects prescribed in the Course programme as pre-requisites of gaining admission to the final examination, he/she has to re-take the subjects in the following semester, and has to pay a tuition fee of 215 EUR per subject (including Thesis consultation and Thesis).

I accept that WBS or the lawyer of WBS can inquire about the status of my visa application at Hungarian authorities.

By submitting the filled-in school application form together with the required documents through the admission system of WBS in Neptun, the applicant also makes the following legal statement:

• “I hereby certify that I have not knowingly withheld any information that might adversely affect chances for application and that the answers given by me are true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I further certify that I, the above named applicant, have personally completed this application.
• I hereby authorise WBS to keep and maintain my personal and sensitive data given in this present document for the purpose of my application to WBS until the establishment of my student status. I hereby authorize WBS to thoroughly investigate my references, education records and other matters related to my suitability for application and, further, authorize the references I have listed to disclose to WBS any and all certificates, diplomas and other information related to my education records, without giving me prior notice of such disclosure. In addition, I hereby release WBS, my present or former employers and all other persons, institutions, partnerships and associations from any and all claims, demands and liabilities arising out of or in any way related to such investigation and disclosure.
• I understand that nothing contained in the application, or conveyed during any interview which may be granted or during my application is intended to create a student contract between me and WBS.
• In addition, I understand and agree that if my application is approved, student status will be regulated by the law of Hungary and the internal regulations of WBS.
• I declare that I possess the necessary mental, physical, linguistic and financial capabilities to pursue my studies in English at a tertiary level at WBS in Budapest.”
