LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The purpose of the training is to train economic specialists who are proficient in the economic sciences, methodologically prepared, with adequate professional and general education, who, based on their knowledge of social sciences, economics, business and management, are able to provide the functional areas of human resource management, analyse labour markets, and coordinate interest reconciliation processes. They are able to solve planning, organization, analysis, decision-making and service tasks in the relevant areas, to manage the human resources management of smaller and medium size business organizations, and, in the case of larger organizations, to independently supervise and manage a sub-area, as well as to effectively participate in projects. Eventually, they are prepared to continue their studies in a Master's program.

a) Knowledge
- Has a comprehensive knowledge of the basic concepts, theories, facts, national and international aspects of economics, with regard to the relevant economic actors, functions and processes.
- Has mastered the basic theories and characteristics of the micro- and macro-organizational levels of the economy; is in possession of basic information collection, mathematical and statistical analysis methods. Knows the rules and ethical standards of cooperation in projects, teams, work organizations, and project management.
- Knows the concepts, relationships, modern procedures, planning, analysis and evaluation methods of managing resources, primarily human resources.
- Knows the organizational and information systems of human resource management, their operation, their role in decision-making and their connection to other functional areas.
- Knows the impact of the development of competencies on individual and organizational capabilities, the examination of human capital investments and returns.
- Knows and understands the basic goals, functions and connections of economic policy and policies related to human resource management.
- Knows the analysis and coordination of the labour market, reconciliation of interests and human resources development processes, and the solution of related decision-making tasks in all areas of the economy.
- Knows the laws related to human resource management and their changes, and takes them into account in their analyses, proposals and decisions.
b) Skills and abilities
- Plans, organizes economic activities, projects, manages and controls small businesses and larger economic organizations. By applying the learned theories and methods, he/she uncovers, organizes and analyses facts and basic relationships, formulates independent conclusions and critical comments, prepares decision-preparatory proposals, makes decisions in routine and partially unknown domestic and international environments.
- Follows and understands global economic and international business processes, changes in relevant policies and laws related to economic policy and the field of expertise, and their effects, and takes them into account in his/her analyses, proposals, and decisions.
- Is able to independently understand and apply the latest professional knowledge of human resource management in the course of their daily work.
- Is capable of planning, organizing, managing and controlling tasks related to the application and development of human resources in organizations and businesses operating in various areas of the economy.
- Is able to communicate and present in a professionally adequate manner orally and in writing in his/her mother tongue and in a foreign language.
c) Attitude
- For the sake of quality work, he/she demonstrates a problem-sensitive and proactive attitude being constructive, cooperative and initiative in projects and group assignments.
- Is receptive to new information, new professional knowledge and methodologies, open to new tasks and responsibilities that require cooperation and independence. He/she strives to develop his/her knowledge and working relationships, and to cooperate with his/her colleagues.

d) Autonomy and responsibility
- Performs and organizes the tasks defined in the job description independently under general professional supervision. Independently organizes the analysis of economic processes, the collection, organization and evaluation of data. Takes responsibility for his/her analyses, conclusions and decisions.
- Independently leads, organizes and manages an organizational unit, work group, or enterprise, smaller economic organization in a business organization, assuming responsibility for the organization and its employees.
- Independently selects and applies appropriate methods when solving professional tasks.
